The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, fiends, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The latest chapter ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will split off from the main group to begin their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per the DM, the warrior group is for players who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might look unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise started the narrative’s action—used the foes for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and fled to a secure base in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to kill the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as important members in House Halovar could assist the party enter areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to head to Timmony in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight players to form the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Fans can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
